Catering of 3 parties at the Amsterdam RAI, IBC2020 show
As September is already a busy month for caterings as companies are catching up the summer holidays, we were lucky to be able to fit in last minute catering requests for drinks parties for 3 different exhibitors at the IBC event in the RAI.
Three parties catered in 1 weekend
On Saturday we catered a drinks and Mooncake party for the Chinese company Starwin in Hall 1 and at the same time we catered a drinks and snacks party for the American company Audinate in Hall 8. As the Amsterdam RAI complex is large and these halls are situated on opposite sides of the complex the main challenge here was the logistics. Thanks for all those involved these worked out pretty good.

Easy collaboration with RAI
We are there for very appreciative for all collaboration we received in making these events a success. First of all, our team of bar and waiting staff taking care of these events that involved some unusual long distance indoor transportation of catering boxes and drinks. Secondly, we want to thank RAI Exhibitor Services for arranging last minute parking space and for allowing us to unload and load at different points as close as viable near the halls we the exhibitor stands were situated.
Catering outdoor at the RAI
On Sunday we had a more relaxed days when catering for the Swedish company Sportways, they had their DMC broadcasting truck parked in front of the RAI and we served them with an outdoor bar and drinks service. Again, the RAI security guards were very flexible to allow us some time to park our catering truck nearby which made logistics easier.

About catering at the Amsterdam RAI exhibition centre
As you can see in the image below the complex consists of 12 halls that for logistics can be accessed via 9 different parking areas. For most trade fairs the RAI will take care themselves of catering of drink parties for exhibitors and outside catering companies are only allowed if there is a previous consent from RAI. Off course we are always happy to see if we can serve you with any catering request you might have at your stand. When sending us a request please makes sure to indicate your exact location at your exhibition.
